- “CIBUS Fresh, Noblesville, Indiana, is recalling CIBUS Fresh products containing Glenview Farms Spreadable Brie, 2/3lb due to supplier notification of a possible Listeria monocytogenes (products are listed below). Product was distributed under the following labels: CIBUS Fresh, Jack & Olive, and Sprig and Sprout.” 1

- “Out of an abundance of caution, Babcock Dairy Staff retrieved all of the remaining product from retail outlets within three hours of discovery. To prevent this issue from occurring again, Babcock Dairy is taking immediate corrective steps, including the retraining of employees on proper labeling procedures, implementation of multiple verification checks during production and packaging, and increased organization and separation of packaging materials to further prevent different containers from coming into contact.” 3

- “VitalityXtra was found to be tainted with sildenafil, an ingredient in FDA approved products for treatment of male erectile dysfunction in the family of drugs known as phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitors. PeakMax capsules was found to be tainted with sildenafil and diclofenac, an FDA approved drug known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain and inflammation. Products containing sildenafil and diclofenac cannot be marketed as dietary supplements. VitalityVita and PeakMax capsules are unapproved new drugs for which safety and efficacy have not been established and, therefore, subject to recall.” 4

- “Through routine testing, it was identified that processing equipment at the site may have been contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. While finished product testing has not identified contaminated product, we have initiated a voluntary recall to retrieve the potentially affected product.” 5
