  • “Grandy Organics, makers of organic granolas, nuts and trail mixes based in the rural town of Hiram, Maine, announced today that they have retracted their recall of Gluten Free Honey Oat Granola that was publicized over the weekend. After proper testing and cooperation with the FDA, all Grandy Organics products, including Gluten Free Honey Oat Granola, are proven safe to consume.” ¹
• 11/9/23 – Food & Beverage – Chickpea Veggie Crisps – Undeclared milk
  • “The recall is the result of an investigation following a consumer complaint. Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume product contained inside the recalled bags.”²
• 11/9/23 – Animal & Veterinary, Pet Food, Food & Beverages, Pet Food – Dog and Cat Food – Potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
  • “The Best By Date is found on the middle top of the back of each bag. This expanded voluntary recall is being issued due to some of the product lots testing positive for Salmonella through random and targeted sampling of finished product, including by the firm and the South Carolina Department of Agriculture.” ³

  • “WanaBana USA is voluntarily recalling all lots of WanaBana Apple Cinnamon Fruit Purée pouches due to reports of elevated levels of lead found in certain units of the product.” ⁴

  • “Trufresh is performing this recall after the Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced a similar recall of cantaloupes packaged with the same Malichita label and bearing the same PLU due to possible salmonella contamination for cantaloupes sold to Fruits et Légumes Gaétan Bono.” ⁵
• 11/7/23 – Food & Beverages – Sandwiches– Undeclared soy and milk.
  • “The recall was initiated after one of our firm’s ingredients suppliers failed to notify them the ingredient formulation had changed. This led to products being sent to customers without properly identifying the allergens of soy and milk.” ⁶
• 11/6/23 – Medical Devices – 9% Sodium Chloride Irrigation USP and Sterile Water for Irrigation USP – Lack of sterility assurance.
  • “The potential for a compromised sterile barrier was identified during routine product testing. Further investigations prompted a widening of product scope out of an abundance of caution.” ⁷
