- “The supplier identified the problem during a routine inspection of label proofs from a completed production batch. This recall was initiated because the product contains soy, a known allergen, but the packaging does not list it as an ingredient. This labeling error means that individuals with a soy allergy may unknowingly consume the product.” 1

- “he recall was initiated because this product may contain recalled whole cucumbers supplied by Bedner Growers, Inc. of Boynton Beach, FL, which initiated a recall after the US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) notified Bedner Growers Inc. that the cucumbers described above were associated with reported salmonellosis illnesses (see FDA Outbreak Investigation)” 2

- “FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Date: May 21 2025, Nogales, AZ, UMARY USA is voluntarily recalling all lots of Unavy Ácido HIALURÓNICO (30 caplets/850 mg) and Umovy Ácido HIALURÓNICO (30 caplets/850 mg), to the consumer FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that these products are tainted with the drug ingredients Diclofenac, Dexamethasone and Omeprazole. Products containing Diclofenac, Dexamethasone or Omeprazole cannot be marketed as dietary supplements. UNAVY ÁCIDO HIALURÓNICO and UMOVY ÁCIDO HIALURÓNICO are unapproved new drugs for which safety and efficacy have not been established and, therefore, subject to recall.” 6

- “LAKELAND, Fla, May 9, 2025 – Publix Super Markets, Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall of GreenWise Pear, Kiwi, Spinach & Pea Baby Food, produced by Bowman Andros LLC and distributed to Publix grocery stores in the company’s eight-state operating area.” 9

- “Sylvania, Ohio (May 15, 2025) Element 112, LLC dba Madeline’s Pâtisserie is issuing a voluntary recall of a specific batch of our ready-to-eat croissants, due to a labeling error. The ingredient statement on the exterior of the box was labeled as “flour” and does not accurately reflect the contained allergen of “wheat” These products are sold fully baked, frozen, and in a food service case of 24 units.” 12
- 5/20/25 – Food & Beverage – Cucumbers – Salmonella.
- “Bedner Growers, Inc. of Boynton Beach, Florida is voluntarily recalling cucumbers sold at Bedner’s Farm Fresh Market between April 29, 2025, and May 14, 2025 because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.” 13

- “The R&M Refresher brand Instant Milk Tea products are recalled because the ingredients statement declares Whey and Caseinate in Non-Dairy Creamer ingredients, but it does not specify milk.” 14

- 5/22/25 – Food – Chicken Soup Product – Due to Misbranding and Undeclared Allergen.
- “The problem was discovered by a retailer after a store employee identified “Signature SELECT Creamy Chicken & Wild Rice SOUP with White Meat Chicken” product bearing the correct top label but incorrect side label. The retailer reported the issue to the producing establishment, and the establishment notified FSIS.” 15

- “The problem was discovered during routine FSIS surveillance activities when FSIS determined that the chicken coxinhas products did not have the USDA mark of inspection and were produced in a facility that was not inspected by USDA.” 16

- “The problem was discovered after FSIS performed routine product testing of the RTE andouille sausage produced by Bourgeois Smokehouse and confirmed those products positive for Listeria monocytogenes.” 17
