- 2/8/25 – Food & Beverage – Alfalfa Sprouts – Potential Foodborne Illness – Listeria monocytogenes.
- “The potential for contamination was noted after routine testing by the State of MN which revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in expired 5oz package Alfalfa sprouts. Even though Jack and the Green Sprout’s tests from an independent lab had negative results confirmed on spent irrigation water & finished Product for the Alfalfa Lot #687 before release.” 1
- 2/6/25 – Food & Beverage – Tahini Sesame Paste – Potential Foodborne Illness – Salmonella.
- “The recall was the result of a routine sampling performed by the Ohio Department of Agriculture which revealed that the finished products contained Salmonella. The company has ceased production and distribution of the products as FDA and the company continue their investigation to what caused the problem. Consumers who purchased Aleppo Sesame Paste Tahini With lot code 120824-01 should not consume the product and they are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.” 2
