- 8/14/25 – Food & Beverage – Brie Royal Faucon Cheese – Potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
- “The recall was initiated after the foreign manufacturer of this cheese was notified by its health authorities of the potential contamination of some of its products with Listeria monocytogenes. No illnesses have been reported to date related to the consumption of this product within the United States.” 1
- 8/12/25 – Medical Devices – Speed Control Dial Component – Due to potential safety and performance concerns.
- “Through ongoing complaint monitoring and subsequent investigation, Max Mobility/Permobil identified a design issue with the SpeedControl Dial that may lead to unexpected behavior of the SmartDrive MX2+ motor. This design issue has been part of the SpeedControl Dial since it was first introduced to the market in April 2022 and impacts all SpeedControl Dials manufactured and distributed, which occurred between April 25, 2022 to July 08, 2025, if there is an intermittent electrical connection between the SpeedControl Dial and SmartDrive MX2+ motor, the following performance issues could occur” 2
- 8/12/25 – Food & Beverage – Cheeses – Potential Foodborne Illness – Listeria monocytogenes.
- “The cheese was supplied to Wegmans by Estancia Holdings of Cumming, Georgia, who initiated a recall after the company was notified by their French supplier that three shipments they received may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.” 3
- 8/12/25 – Food & Beverage – Instant coffee – Potential presence of glass.
- “The recall is being initiated after a customer notified Dollar General employees about the potential issue. Ingesting glass fragments may cause injury to the consumer, and these injuries may include damage to teeth, laceration of the mouth and throat, or perforation of the intestine. No illnesses or injuries have been reported to date.” 4
- 8/12/25 – Medical Devices – t:slim X2 insulin pumps – Potential speaker-related issue that can trigger an error resulting in a discontinuation of insulin delivery.
- “The error, which appears as a Malfunction 16 alarm to the user, will stop insulin delivery and terminate communication between the insulin pump and the continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) device. If not addressed, this could result in hyperglycemia due to discontinuation of insulin delivery, real-time CGM Estimated Glucose Values, and CGM trends. In severe cases of hyperglycemia, the user may require hospitalization or intervention from a medical professional. There have been 700 confirmed adverse events, defined as a confirmed high blood sugar and/or an event requiring medical intervention, and 59 reported injuries. No deaths have been reported.” 5
- 8/12/25 – Food & Beverage – Spanish Cheese (Quesito Colombiano) – Due to the presence of rodent, rodent activity, and other insanitary conditions during the manufacturing and storage process.
- “This recall is the result of an FDA inspection where insanitary conditions were observed. Quesito el Establo has ceased the production and distribution of the product as FDA and the company continue their investigation.” 6
- 8/10/25 – Food & Beverage – Belgian Chocolate Moments Smurfs Popping Milk Chocolates with Cookies – Undeclared wheat allergen.
- “The action was initiated after it was discovered during an internal check that product containing wheat was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of wheat. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by an exceptional combination of circumstances in which the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) did not include the allergen on the packaging.” 7
