- “The recall was initiated after an FDA inspection of our facility where it was discovered that products containing milk, soy, wheat, sesame, FD&C #6 and almonds were distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk, soy, wheat, sesame, FD&C #6 and almonds.” 1
- 12/13/24 – Drugs – Nhan Sam Tuyet Lien Truy Phong Hoan dietary supplement capsules – Device & Drug Safety – Unapproved Drug.
- “FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 12th December 2024, Flushing, New York, Buy-herbal.com is voluntarily recalling all lots within expiry of Nhan Sam Tuyet Lien Truy Phong Hoan Capsules to the consumer level. FDA analysis has found these products to contain undeclared Furosemide, Dexamethasone and Chlorpheniramine. Furosemide was found at 5.24 mg/g or 1.84 mg/capsule. Dexamethasone was found at 2.22 mg/g or 0.780 mg/capsule. Chlorpheniramine was found at 4.38 mg/g or 1.54 mg/capsule. Products containing Furosemide, Dexamethasone and Chlorpheniramine cannot be marketed as dietary supplements. Nhan Sam Tuyet Lien Truy Phong Hoan Capsules is an unapproved drug for which safety and efficacy have not been established and therefore, subject to recall.” 2
- 12/13/24 – Food & Beverage – VidaSlim Brand 90-day, 30-day and 7-day Original Root, Root Plus, and Root Capsules & VidaSlim Hot Body Brew Dietary Supplements – Product contains toxic yellow oleander.
- “December 13, 2024 – Motivate Me Ashley, LLC of San Antonio, Texas is recalling the following VidaSlim brand products: VidaSlim 90-day (Original Root, Root Plus, and Root Capsules), VidaSlim 30-day (Original Root, Root Plus, and Root Capsules), VidaSlim 7-day Sample Size (Original Root, Root Plus, and Root Capsules), and VidaSlim Hot Body Brew (Strawberry and Peach flavors), due to samples tested by FDA that showed the presence of yellow oleander leaving the possibility of other lots containing yellow oleander as well. The consumption of yellow oleander can cause adverse effects on neurological, gastrointestinal, and cardiovascular health that can be serious or even fatal. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea, abdominal pain, heart changes, arrhythmia, and more.” 3

- “MILWAUKEE – December 13, 2024 Palermo Villa, Inc. is issuing a recall of 1,728 Connie’s Thin Crust Cheese Frozen Pizzas because of a possible plastic foreign contaminant. The product was distributed in Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin to retail grocery stores. The affected product, Connie’s Thin Crust Cheese Pizza, has expired as of 11/27/2024.” 4
- 12/12/24 – Food & Beverage – Enoki Mushrooms – Potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
- “The contamination was discovered after samples were collected from a store in Baltimore, Maryland and subsequent analysis by State of Maryland Department of Health Laboratories Administration revealed the presence of Listeria Monocytogenes in some 200g packages of Daily Veggies Enoki Mushroom form Korea. Remaining products in the warehouse had been destroyed.” 5
- 12/10/24 – Food & Beverage – Gyro Family Kit – Potential Foodborne Illness – Salmonella.
- “Select lots of Gyro Family Kits were recalled from Sprouts stores on 12/06/2024 after being alerted by their supplier Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc. of potential Salmonella contamination of the cucumbers within the tzatziki sauce. No illnesses have been reported to date.” 6

- “The issue was discovered in the context of a New York State Department of Agriculture inspection. Current in-house inventory, as well as future product, will clearly declare these ingredients (i.e., fish (anchovy) and soy) on the label.” 7
