    • “The potential for contamination was noted after testing by the company revealed the presence of Salmonella. The company has ceased distribution of the product as the company continues their investigation.” 1
  • 7/12/24 – Dietary Supplements – Dietary Supplements for Male Sexual Enhancement. – Tainted with Sildenafil and Acetaminophen.
    • “FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – 7/12/2023 – Atlanta, GA, Supercore Products Group is voluntarily recalling of Hard Steel Capsules & Gold Hard Steel Plus Liquid to the consumer level. FDA analysis has found these products to be tainted with Sildenafil and acetaminophen. Sildenafil is an ingredient known as a Phosphodiesterase Inhibitor (PDE-5) found in FDA- approved products for the treatment of male erectile dysfunction. The presence of sildenafil in these products renders them an unapproved drug for which the safety and efficacy has not been established and, therefore, subject to recall.” 2
  • 7/10/24 – Medical Devices – Life2000 Ventilator with an attached battery charger dongle – Potential Battery Charger Dongle Damage,
    • “DEERFIELD, Ill., July 10, 2024 – Baxter International Inc. (NYSE:BAX) announced today it has issued an Urgent Medical Device Recall for Life2000 ventilators with an attached battery charger dongle. The recall is due to reports that the devices are not properly charging when there is damage to the battery charger dongle. Baxter has received one serious injury complaint potentially related to this issue and is working with customers to replace affected Life2000 ventilator devices.” 3
  • 7/9/24 – Food & Beverage – Mustard Potato Salad – Potential Hard Plastic Foreign Material.
    • “Out of an abundance of caution, Reser’s Fine Foods is voluntarily recalling Hill Country Fare Mustard Potato Salad 48oz (3LB) with a Use By Date of JUL/26/24 due to the possibility of pieces of hard plastic foreign material in the package. No injuries have been reported.” 4

    • “The problem was discovered during routine FSIS in-plant verification activities when FSIS personnel observed that soy, a known allergen, was being used as an ingredient and was not declared on the finished product label.” 5
  • 7/10/24 – Food – Ineligible Meat and Poultry Products – Illegally Imported from the Philippines.
    • “The problem was discovered when FSIS was performing routine surveillance activities at a retailer and found meat and poultry products from the Philippines that are not eligible to be exported to the U.S.” 6
