- “CINCINNATI, October 4, 2025 – The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR), said today it has recalled Basil Pesto Bowtie Salad and Smoked Mozzarella Penne Salad that was sold in the Kroger Family of Stores in following states: AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MO, MS, MT, NE, NM, NV, OH, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA and WV. This follows a recall initiated by Fresh Creative Foods, due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination of the pasta ingredient that was manufactured by Nate’s Fine Foods of Roseville, CA.” 1

- 10/3/25 – Food & Beverage – Pet Chews Bully Bites Treats – Potential Foodborne illness – Salmonella.
- “The health risk was discovered when samples of the product were collected on September 11, 2025, and tested by the Food and Drug Administration. The product tested positive for Salmonella. The company has ceased production and distribution of this product as the FDA, and the company continue their investigation into what caused the problem.” 3

- “PITTSBURGH – Giant Eagle, Inc., has issued a voluntary recall of “Smoked Mozzarella Pasta Salad” sold in the prepared foods departments of its Giant Eagle and Market District locations across western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and Indiana due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. This recall is in response to a nationwide recall of ready-to-eat pasta originating from Nate’s Fine Foods.” 4

- “Sea Port Products Corp of Kirkland, WA is voluntarily recalling a limited amount of Sea Port brand bagged Frozen Raw Easy Peel White Shrimp Jumbo size 16/20 count/lb because they may have been prepared, packed, or held under insanitary conditions whereby they may have become contaminated with Cesium-137 (Cs-137).” 7

- “The contamination was discovered after sampling by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors and subsequent analysis by Food Laboratory personnel revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in some 200g packages of Signature Enoki Mushroom. There are no products left from this batch in the warehouse.” 8
